Synthze aims not to collect any unnecessary personal data outside of delivering the user experience, to ensure app performance and provide technical support.

1. Data Collection & Purpose

• App Performance: We collect crash logs and diagnostics to fix bugs and ensure app performance (Purpose: Analytics & App Functionality).
• Support: Email and contact info are collected only if you contact us (Purpose: Customer Support).

2. Permissions & Sensitive Data

Synthze may request certain Android permissions to deliver its core synthesizer functionality and MIDI connectivity:

• Bluetooth & Nearby Devices: Used solely for MIDI controller connectivity.
• Location Access: Foreground location access is strictly used for Bluetooth MIDI device discovery as required by the Android OS and is not used to track, store, or share the user's physical location.
• Cloud Access: Google Drive is accessed only when you manually initiate a MIDI/Preset import/export.
• Network Access: Full network access is used for normal app connectivity and technical resource loading where applicable.

3. Data Safety & Security

• Data Security: All data collected for support or analytics is transmitted over secure, encrypted channels (HTTPS). We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
• Data Retention: We only keep support emails and related data as long as necessary to resolve your issue.

4. Data Sharing

Data sharing may only occur with technical service providers necessary for app operation and within the scope of legal obligations.

5. User Control & Data Deletion

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time. Users can request the permanent deletion of their support-related data by emailing support@synthze.app. Requests are processed within 30 days.
